Scents in grow room an issue?

Hey all, this is probably a noob question but if I were to put a glade plug in or another heavy scent device in the same room as 2 plants with the door closed and no window open (so only gets new air when I open the door which is a couple times a day) would that affect them at all? Not really sure what if anything those types of scent devices due to the air.

any thoughts?

ahh k I can probably just put one in the hallway to suffice. Is there anything you can put in there to eat the odor that doesn't require induction of new air from somewhere?

Umm nope its just an empty spare bedroom.

well I will be setting up a tent for when they flower in that room and that will have a carbon filter, but for the veg stage I was just leaving them in the empty room since there's just two.

I've been leaving the door open lately but when they get bigger i'm guessing that means more smell and I'll likely be keeping the door closed more.

opening the door a couple of times a day is not gunna help them plants at all add a insense to the room it will prob take all there oxyagen and kill them even with u opening the door and haveing a window with fresh air u are gunna have some major climant issues as they get older man issue i see in grow rooms or people growing is they lack out on the climant of the room which will kill your harvest and give you a very sic plant don't dry grow on a budget do it right

I'm using Ona gel
It will work as long as you keep it outside your grow room.
 
Might be worth picking up a 4" or 6" fan with carbon filter to re-circulate the room's existing air, maybe throw it on a timer to run for 10 mins every 4 hours or so. Here is a fan and filter for $64 shipped via amazon prime: https://amzn.com/B004Q2ER5C. Really not bad considering a quart of Ona is like $20 and imparts its smell on things around it after awhile.

Just mount the fan to a table or your wall, connect the filter on the intake side and fire it up. Assuming you already have an oscillating fan in the room blowing on your canopy (or some other type of air movement) the room will clear in a few minutes. If you have HVAC there is no sense in cracking the door thinking it will provide them with any fresh air. You'd be better off keeping the door closed while cracking the window every so slightly, like 1/4". The pressure fluctuations will pull in some nice fresh air for the plants while also serving to further mitigate any odor build-up.
