With this setup How many watts of fluro should i have in in the veg area. How many Watts Of HPS in the flowering area. In the flowering area i plan on having 1 plant per square foot. i want to harvest every 4-5 weeks, so how long should i keep the plants in veg. with the setup in this picture my plans were to have each buchet be a single system, but is there anyway i can have them all run 2gether. if not i'll just stick with my original plans. would it be possible to yield 1+ pounds every harvest with this setup All my plants are in flower.

does any1 here know how i can hook up 6-8 5gal. aero. buckets(for flowering)to have running off of one pump,or whateva it would be. I'll be vegging my first group of seedlings in a 20gal. home-made aero. unit, after that clones will be in the 20gal. system. BCBudDepot has a sweet dreams Feminized strain.
All help is needed and appreciated.

Also how many watts of fluro should i have over the 20gal. unit. I'm loolking for a SOG Idea for the above.

Take a look at my aero setup.I have it down from 32 sites to 28 sites and am downing my 1000 watt lights to 2 400 watt lights with expected yeild somewhere from 2-4 lbs per harvest.

I want to look but you dont have a link with your post. + how often do you harvest. Please post your setup or tell me where 2 find it

The only plants you need to keep on a veg lightcycle in a SoG op are the mothers and the clones while they are setting root. You can keep your mums under fluoros but if you need to do cuttings frequently (every 2 weeks) you'll want more powerful lighting for your mums. I use a 400HPS on my 6-8 mums and 6x 18W (24") fluoros in a clonebox designed for 30 cuttings.

Once clones have sufficiently set root, they go straight in to the flowering area under as much light as you can throw at them. Giving clones any veg time at all after setting root will cause them to be too tall. Even the most powerful indoor lighting only penetrates foliage to a certain depth, so short plants are better for the indoor grower.

With zero veg time- flowering cuts as soon as they have rooted- plants will gain height until week 3-4 and then bulk out. They ought to finish up at about 33-36" with 1000W HPS lights.

40-50 watts of HPS per square foot will give you good density and yield.
