Hello Everyone,

Long time reader, first time poster. I have a few questions about my setup that maybe you guys could help me with.

Before I ask any questions I'll let you take a look at my specs.

And then on to the questions.

Sealed Flower Room:

7 by 13 by 7(tall)= 637 CuFT
Sentinel ChhC-4 $550
3- Digi 600 hps $480
10,000 BTU A/C Free
Ecotemp L5 Portable Tankless Hot Water $120
24 pint/day Dehumidifier Free
Home Depot Wall to Wall to Ceiling Reflective Insulation $90
2- 16 Oscillating Fans $70
Diy 5 gallon bucket Activated Carbon Filter $50

Question 1

What type of outlets are on the Chhc-4? 110v, 220v?

Not the wall outlet you plug the Chhc-4 cord into, the actual outlets on the chhc-4.

The only reason I ask is because:

The only item I have yet to order is the Sentinel ChhC-4 because the most expensive ChhC-4 Sentinels on E-bay have black plug covers and you can see the outlets in the picture and they don't look like a reg 110v outlet. On the other ChhC-4's on e-bay the plug covers are blue and you cannot see what the outlets look like.
I mainly need the Chhc-4 to control/monitor my C02 ppm levels. Everything I will hook up to it(dehumd, A/C, C02) are all 110v A/C. Will the chhc-4 work for me?

Question 2:

Also will my 24 pint dehumidifier work with my size room?

It was free and I would like to use it. I've yet to find a rule of thumb for the size of room a certain amount of pint dehumidifier will handle.

Question 3:

Will my 10,000 BTU A/C be enough with 3-600 hps in shitty hoods and a water cooled c02 generator running?

Ballasts are mounted outside the room.

Question 4:

Has anyone found a way to make an air conditioner that doesn't have an automatic restart feature work with a Sentinel controller?

I'm thinking that if I bypass the digital control unit on the A/C so the a/c is either on or off it will work. Have yet to try it however. I think I can bypass everything on the A/C so the ChhC-4 that I will have hooked up to it will control when it comes on and for how long.

Well if you made it this far I congratulate you. I know it was a lengthy post.

Have a great day guys

My CHHC-4 is running all 110v as well.

Just make sure you're using the right gauged wire or you'll fry the power supply. I've done it twice already...

If your going to be plugging it into something like a 10,000 btu AC unit you want to make sure you get a power modual for it as well. The air conditioner may draw to much power and trip the breaker on the CHHC-4. That's what happened with mine anyway.

Im running s 11,000 BTU Ac on mine as well as CO2 ;) and even a dehumidifier at times. No module.
Just gotta know how to set it correctly.

I would not recommend putting the AC directly on the unit. The AC pulls lots of Amps you could Fry the unit. I put mine on a trigger switch on a different circuit.

Mine ran with a hydrogen pro, 10,000 Btu AC and the dehumidifier but every time the ac unit kicked on the black switch on the bottom of the breaker would throw. How did you set yours? Thankfully with winter around the corner cold air comes free but I would like to know for next summer.

If the breaker is tripping you are definitely pulling to much amperage through the sentinel. You need a power expansion module, believe me I have 1 for AC and 1 for dehumidifiers, all controlled by a CHHC-4. You don't even want to be close to maxing the power draw as if it trips, you no longer have any AC or dehumidification. All it takes is for your AC to not turn on 1 time, could ruin your whole crop.

your dehumidifier is ok, my room is 6ft x 10ft x 6ft high, my dehumidifier is taking in 1-2 litres in 24 hours. and yours can handle that, mine is set at just under 50% for flowering usually around, 47,48,49%
