Alright so I want to start a grow, Because I just got my cannabis card. Anyways this going to be my second grow once i get it started. My first grow was alright, it was a fun learning experience. I still have a lot to learn. I ran a home made hydro system in my closet. Nothing fancy Just a 400 watt hps on a light rail and some rubber maid tubs with a top feed type system. I ran into some problems and would appreciate some help.
I got about 750 bucks to play with. I know I want to upgrade to a 600 watt hps for flower, my old 400 watt is switchable so that for veg. I also know i want to grow these in the stink bud system. But here is my problem Ventilation. I want to avoid having to cut any holes in the wall. I have a spare guest bedroom that I was thinking of moving the grow to. So here is where I would like some help.....
I was thinking I could get a Tent for the room 76"x76"x78" (Because I eventually want to have two lights int the tent). Put a piece of wood over the window and cut a hole get a fan that pulls air from outside into the tent and then have it exhausted out into the room. Also I get some really hot summers, I live in the central valley. It can easily reach triple digits.
Anyways here is my questions
-Do I need to run a ac in the tent or do you think i can get away with running the lights during the night?
-What kind of cfm's do i need for this on the Fans?
-Anyone see anything wrong with my idea? or anyone think of something better?
