Seed Connect - A story of a first time grower

So I started growing outside of a couple bagseeds back in my 20's. I'm growing for medical and am a card carrier.

There is a site out there that I had to learn is a bunch of pollen chucking false seed selling price jacking morons. This site can be in strange places, too. I found it by looking for a local seed or clone source. Found one and their seed selection said "get our seeds through our affiliate". OK no problemo. After first order I tried going for the clones. Apparently the clone supplier network based mostly out of Cali had already cut that supplier out.

https://chicagoseedsandclones.com/ that's where I started. It's looking way more legit than the trap it was before. New genetics that look more personally done, clones through the same supplier. Also it no longer has seed links that take you to the "affiliate" below.

The Silver Haze photo? All of them autoflowered into lord knows what. Anything "fruity" is going to be the same seeds. Everything is crossed with "LSD" and my best guess after what I've learned the past 6 months of growing, is he just crossed some shit with it and had the pollen. Based out of Arizona, locals claim to go to him for clones and what not. "Purple African Magic" every single seed was shit. Honestly a lot of the autoflowers I grew of his, so I could crash course in how to grow weed right, tasted and smelled like shit. Not in a good way. Not the "dog shit" smell. Like some weird funky shit. At least I make my own concentrates so I just cooked the crappy smell/taste terps out. It's not that easy to find out that they're crap genetics and false seeds. I think Yelp had the most reviews from locals calling the guy out.

Now I've learned. I've got Tony Green's, Mephisto, and Bodhi coming in the mail from GLG.

Glad I didnt make the order. I am looking for regular (M/F) seeds of Black African Magic. So, I emailed the company yesterday, asking if the seeds were fems or regs. I got 2 emails with 2 different answers. I can't order from a site that can't get basic info down. WHY did I get 2 answers? Lmao even my email calls this place a scam. Oh well

Just a few things since i work heavily in marketing etc.

your email didnt call it a scam they said it isnt in your safe senders list thats a list you put up as preferred emails to be "safe"

Joys answer is AI, its a chat bot you can tell how she worded it, the excessive emoji etc.

Thanks. I just read a bunch of reviews on reddit about his shop in Tempe, AZ. Along with OP and this email, i think I'll pass. Supposedly his fems aren't stable and just bad genetics in general. He himself doesnt breed, according to reddit users. The "homie" "breeds" for him. I get CropKing, ILGM vibes from the site. Sucks, cause his seeds are 50% off right now. The reason I even had to email about the sex of the seeds, is because it says "feminized, regular" with no option to choose between. If I didnt get those emails, I actually wouldnt have looked deeper into this site.

The seed fair gets similar reviews with photoperiods autoflowering. I did see a harvest of BAM from them. They turned black, as described. "Fem seeds" only. No confusion about that.

Maybe I'm being harsh. I just got out of a foot surgery. A bit tired and annoyed.

I'll look into Cora Genetics @ Alpine Seed Group for BAM. Its a BX selected for elevated THCV, but at least its written in the description that it is a BX. Just looking for reputable breeders for this strain.

There is a 47 page on THCFarmer about BAM. I'll go thru that thread soon
