Seed grew in garbage can!!!!

So i tried to germ about 8 bag seeds in a paper towel and zip lock bag for about 3 weeks....So last night i checked them again and nothing so i've had it and throw them out....I was taking out the garbage and looked at the seeds one ziplock i left the seeds in and the other i left the paper towel out ontop of the ziplock....The paper towel i left out had a seed germed and i was like HOLY FUCK!!!! But the shoot was hanging on by a thread (no joke)...I put the seed in a new paper towel and a new ziplock...My question is will it start to grow again??? Even though the shoot broke in half...Also how the fuck did it grow that much in a dry paper towel in less than 24 hours....I NEED HELP ASAP!!!!

Its not gonna happen. Its broken. Its too young to handle that kind of injury. Just start over.

Heres how I germinate seeds...

-Grab a plate.
-Put a paper towel on it.
-Put the seeds on the paper towel.
-Put another paper towel on top of the seeds.
-Fold the corners of the paper towels over so they aren't hanging off the edge of the plate.
-Pour some luke warm water on the paper towels.
-Place the germination plate in a dark, warm area.
-Check on it every 24 hours. If it begins to dry out, put more water on it.
-When they have 1/3 inch long roots growing from them, its time to plant em.

Don't place them in a bag.

Wow that's not what eveyone has told me....I will try it right now i have 3 other seeds i wanna try out....How long does it take you to give up with them not germing

If my seeds haven't germinated within 4 days, I give up.

yup yup, and put a bowl ontop of the plate upsidown

So it's not even worth trying to get that seedling to start growing again??? Only have of the new stem broke off....Won't new growth peek through??? I will post pics tommorow...

just wet paper towel on a plate in the dark, i have never had a seed not germinate this way....... as soon as i see a root thats more than a couple mm long i put them about an inch deep in peat pelets which are kept moist until the head pops out then its under cfls. when the roots come out of the pete pelets i know its time to pot them.

So far, I am my third grow, all my seeds have germinated.

Few paper towels

water (not sure if it makes a differance but I use ph control water)

Plate and bowl.

I spray the plate with water, add a few paper towel, put the seeds on top of it. spay some more, cover with 2 more towels, respray. Cover with a bowl so that the seeds are in the dark.

I stick the plate on top of my modem to keep it warm, check on it to make sure the towel stay wet but not soaked. All my seeds cracked within 24 hours.

My question was is the seed gonna still grow??? It was out in the open air for 24 hours...The stem broke...will it grow new roots???

easiest way to germinate is this my friend .. put them in rockwool .. soak the rockwool... put thoose slurpie big top lids over the rockwool .. and wiat

I know how to germ seeds....That is not my question....will the plant grow now that the stem broke....ANYONE???

U sure theres no way it can come back...I planted it in soil today...Hope it comes around...Like i said it was bag seed that i tried to germ in a ziplock bag in a paper towel...I threw it out and a day later it grew to a seedling out in the open...

At this point I'd say its just better to start over, it MIGHT grow but you'd be better off in the long run starting with a plant that has a healthy tap root.
