Seed Planting

So i planted my seeds about an inch in the

soil then later that day i read that your only

supposed to plant like a few milimeters

in,.....so will that have any effect on how

my plant grows?

It will affect how long it takes to sprout but if the dirt or soil is real compacted it could not sprout it needs a little air man.
