is this what developing buds are supposed to look like inside? are these seed pods or pistils?? I am confused.

push the delicate pistils to the side, and gently lick the tasty calyx until you get to the center, if it's there you'll feel the nub on the tongue. What you do with it afterwards is key.

Yup, looks like she was fooling around and got knocked up. At least it's not a fatal affliction. You'll just have the possibility of grandkids if you decide to sprout those seeds..
