seed production?

i just read the seed production tutorial..but i dont know it help a little but kinda dont understand it..i just got more big bud seeds and i dont wanna bud these.. i just want to make seeds..i will be using a 400 watt hps. cant i just leave the male and female alone while flowering? wouldnt that give me seeds? and harvest as i would bud?


ps i will be vegging both til 1foot tall..how many seeds you think i can get? an estimate..i know u cant really tell..too many little ones..

yes, you can easily just leave 1 male in with the females and have seeds galore. i can't tell you how many seeds you will have, but you will have quite a few. as soon as the pollen sacks start to open (you will be able to tell because their shells will be on the floor as well as some pollen) the female(s) are pollinated and you can pull the male from the room. it takes very little to pollinate a female, or a whole group of them for that matter. you really don't need to rub the plants together either, because whatever fan you have in the room will "spread the love" just fine.

I just started picking seeds off my purple haze (that accidentally became pollinated by my white widow) and it is 2 feet tall and I picked 45 seeds- and its not even done... sooooo something around there brooooooooooooo
