Seedling Environment

I just germinated about 20 seeds and sprouted nicely now, they about 1-2 inch's in height and I just put a thermometer/humidity gauge my guetto grow box. I have a heating pad under it set to warm(the heating pad works for 2-hours before automatically shutting off, so I turn it on 2-3 times a day(4-6 hours of added heat)which helped a lot during germination), and the gauge reading about 35C and 55 for humidity. is this temperature too high and should i take away the heating pad. Im pretty sure the humidity is fairly decent. Also, will this very hot environment create a lot of stress on the plants when i bring them outside which is in southern Canada in 1-3 weeks( I wont have the ability to put them into the sunlight for short periodes of time, theyre all going out in one go). I plan to use a 1-1-1(or 1-1-.5?) Vitamin b-1 seaweed mix to help them in transplanting. Any help on using that or alternatives, btw the hydro store in my city dosent have a huge selection for obscure products.

what kind of lighting are you using? you may want to find a way to shade your babies for a few days if you are putting them into intense sun.If your temps are above 70 a heat pad wont be necessary. what are the outdoor temps usually like when intend to plant? the b-1 mix will give them a boost and help prevent some stress.

Im using 2 13w U-shaped fluorescents with around 700 lumen output per(2 normal desk lamps) and I also wanted to know how close these babies can get to the bulbs without getting harmed, and im probably going to use a clear plastic bag to cover them for the next 1-3 days as a humidity dome and im tossing the heating mat. The shade idea sounds good, im probably going to plant them in bigger pots for half or a full week(in 1-3 weeks from now) in shade then move them into soil and nutrient enriched earth. The day temperatures here can be from 12-25C(54-77F) and at night around 10C(50F) but it can dip to as low as 5C(41F)
Here are some picturess of the grow box and the seedlings yesterdayvlcsnap-2011-05-13-01h21m52s149.pngvlcsnap-2011-05-13-01h22m49s79.png

You want those lights within a few inches of those seedlings. The lights are way to far that's why your seedlings are stretching out like that.

yep your seedlings are stretching because the light is too far away, but the small pots will cause them to stretch also. lower your lights and transplant them as soon as the are working on their second set of leaves. 1g pots will work well for you for a week or two. plant them right up to the cotyledons, and your stretching wont be an issue. seedlings can handle full sun if they are started there, the trouble comes when people try to move them from very low light to very intense light with giving them a chance to adapt.

ok, so i had to make an emergency move and now the babies are at a friends house but they were taken out of light for about 5 hours. Is this going to affect the light cycle or shock the plants? it happened between 6pm and 11pm so its would not fall into the outdoor light cycle either.
