Ive killed off too many babies overwatering, had many seeds not sprout. Think lm on to something here, used promix, was very dry, hydraphobic even, decided on 1g pots a number 3 square and 2 2g, moistened soil with straight no phed tapwater, ph is around 7 to 7.2 left 1 inch water in pan to wick up by pots, water gone by next day, planted 12 seeds 1 was dead on arrival. Count as freebee. Planted at half inch depth Day 2 and 8 are broken through, day 3 all up. 11, one doesnt look so good, cover with some soil, up next time l check. Day 4 change light from tubes to 3k 150w led and viperspectra 400 blurple so 200w maybe, some leds burnt out. So less, About 10 days in so 8 days up and picking up pots everyday but no watering to date, no nutes in medium, first watering l will feed, turned over medium sized seedling and taproot poking out hole in bottom of pot. Only on 3rd node but looking better than any lve grown to date. Added fan today, duh noob move, might of watered if had fan on from start. A few seedlings leaves are as wide as pot already, good sign. Compared to my sickly overwatered usual way. In small beer cups.

Plan is to veg and cut at least 2 survivors from each seedling, one for me and one for person who suplied me the seeds. Hoping to find at least one or two phenos to keep. Still have over a month or 6 weeks before flower tent will be ready for these, l suck at cloning so this is going to be fun. Any ideas on why fans have curl on them, slowly growing out of it, lm figuring they are hungry but want them to be, dry soil, big fat roots. From soaked soil to break the eggs. 80 degrees in area. No idea what rh is but probably higher than lower, will have to watch them close. I put this in the noob because when it comes to seeds l count this as the truth. I can veg but usually put into flower when plant expresses itself. Always a race to harvest, learning how to change gears. Thinking this may help someone whos having problems cracking eggs. Maybe next time ld do differently but am including all the mistakes lve made so you dont. Grow better each grow! Going to include some microbials into feed when that time comes. Thinking a few more days. Now fan is on them. Leaves only at 3 but 5s wont be but a few days now, thats when they do some huge growth in my experience. Roots before shoots. If l had watered even once so far l can guarantee the weak plant would of died and nothing would be where it is. Now its going to be if l water in time. The plan is to catch them at the right time because if soil is dry plant will suck up nutes and water and then grow like crazy until next watering. Plan to uppot around 20 days in for 1 gal hoping roots dont circle, looking to put into 7g square pots for flower. But am undecided on route to take.
First feed will be RAW veg, second will be Cannapro Pure, and will continue through veg and flower. Dont like the idea of 11 plants in my 4x4 flower tent. Might need smaller pots or uppot when going into flower only and use smaller pots.???
Figure light change was good thing, thanks to a post l read on RIU! Was the reason l didnt leave them with inadequate light. Got to give credit where its due, wish l could remember post now. Was day four of this grow, jumped off riu and changed out lights. Best thing l could of done for them. All plants spaced out a bit in 2x3 area approx.
When l was checking earlier l almost wanted to top them, most would have 4 tops but think ill wait for some higher up nodes to use. Hope to keep this thread up and add every few days or if something like cribdeath develops, lol. Have popped many seeds in papertowel peat pellets or rapid rooters. In to a pot thats deep enough for taproot to stretch about 6 inches should be good but deeper is better is best way lve found for small time growers like me. They dont need nutrients for over a week if pot big enough, watch codolyn leaves as they die as plant gets hungry. I do know some things.
Final point, light changeout stopped all stretching of these babies, thanks all at RIU.

Any thoughts if you read it you can offer some advice feel free to do so. Am trying to be vigil in checking them regularily, am going to check more often now! Will try to update whenever something happens with them. Milestones well say.
