SEEDLING LOSS

I'm having trouble with my seedlings, they do fine for about 5 or 6 days then they develop
a black spot about half way up the stem and fall over the next day.
Sorry I can't do pics. right now.
Any help?
soil is FFOF
h2o is 6.5
temp is 84F

That sounds like damping off. Are you using a dome or spraying them with water?

No dome, no spray but they may have been over watered , my son watered
when I wasn't home.

Lol you can reuse the soil maybe add a little perlite to the mix for more drainage.

Yeah thats why for your first grow you do a trial run with bagseeds or inexpensive seeds so you dont feel a type of way like now
