hey dudes my plant has finally broke thru the dirt,but i can still see part of the root in a curved form going str8 down in the pot as well as the shell still attached,what shoud i do ? add more dirt to the exposed root ? please help

Yes, but if you are useing MH keep it 3 feet away and to the side
T5 3 2 feet away
CFL 8-10" above.

im using reg workshop fluros just for veg

go ahead and turn on the light, I keep light on my seedlings as soon as I plant them. It helps keep the roots warm and helps the plant know which direction is up.

Add a little soil on top to stop the stretching, and if you can, carefully take a pair of tweezers or a toothpick and try to take off the shell.

Sounds like t-8 or t12s I would put them 6-8 inches above.
