hi all my 4 week old seedlings are 5 inches tall and sprouting their 2nd set of proper leaves any ideas when they will be ready to be transplanted and put under 18hr light.. cheers jimbo

4 weeks at 5 inches? what is your light setup and how long on/off? Also how big a pot are they in now?
At 4 weeks they should be alot bigger, and you should have them on 18/6 from when they first sprout. They will be ready for transplant, you dont want to leave it too late, as they dont like to be moved around too much once roots are more developed and established.

ive had them growing on window sill so they have been havin about 12hr day light , they are in 2.5 - 3 inch pots at mo and the roots have just started comin out

Yeah u can transplant, now is a good time. Also put them under lights 18/6, if it was possible, u should have done so from the start.

cheers demi i will transplant them into 11litre pots tomorrow and put them on a 18hr cycle thanks again
