Seeds set in Miracle Grow soil...pH inquiry (yet another one)

So I have some tomato seeds germin' away in soil (well hopefully)...today is day 2 as they were set yesterday....I have a mix of Miracle Grow moisture control with perlite mixed at about a 3:1 ratio. I am watering with pH 6.0 water...however I collected some of the runoff and the runoff appears to be pH 8.0+.

First germ session...

I am using the drops to measure pH and the runoff I used had some perlite and dirt in it so I am unsure of the accuracy. However it very closely resembles the pH 8 color chart portion. My question becomes....do I lower the pH of my water I am adding to further lower the pH of the runoff?

I was thinking about why the water was this pH and when I initially flushed as Cranker suggested, with my pH 8 tapwater I think that's how I ended up in this spot.....(this is the method I used for soil prep at least)

So should I lower my pH to like 5.5 for waterings until my runoff is closer to 6? Or let it ride and just continue the method? If cranker could chime in that's be f'n sweet lol but any help is appreciate.

i dont have eexperience with mg soil but i am sure it is packed with minerals and nutrients and what not. i would just ph your water until you flush some of the extras out of the soil

Here is the pH color sample solution with perlite floating on top and the color chart next to it for reading....if it helps but I doubt the dirt changes the color result very much to be honest.

I see what other people say. Here is my experience: I started seedlings in 9oz paper cups with MG soil. No other nutes , everything grew fine. About two weeks later, roots had filled cup and I transplanted to a larger pot with no nutes so that I could control for the rest of the time. MG soil did just fine for starting plants. You are overthinking this.

DaGa....this is what I was looking for...now for +rep what pH of water did u use? and if just tap or jug that's fine just say so. This is precisely the kind of experienced info I was looking for.
