Can anyone give me advice please. I'm about to go on holiday for 3 weeks. Can anyone suggest a way how to feed my plants while I'm away for the 3 weeks.
Thanks

3 weeks is a long time to leave your plants unattended, especially if growing indoors

Hi,

I don't know how to translate it to English, but drop-by-drop watering could be solution. You will need a depot, a clock, an aquarium water pump and some tubing to perform the watering. Also, some time before to adjust correctly the wateribg flow.

As said before by ISK three weeks it could be to much time because the growing and the lamp height. If you put the light too high planta will strech. If you put it to low plant will grow and the top will be burnt by the light. So, think on some poor lighting as CFL to keep the plants in something like an standby mode. Like this way the water consumption will also be very low. Not too much hear or plant growing here.

A question here is the watering time. A digital clock with week/days programming is a must. The analogue ones repeat the cicle day by day and may me the smallest time division, let's say 15 min, is too much water for some small plant.

Cheers !

I had a friend that used a drip system. It's been awhile but I think he had a very small water pump. I would hit them with a heavy dose of neem before you go also.

Don't cut the tops off it works like the water globes once it's dry enough the wicking process pulls a drop out and it will cause a bubble to enter the bottle
