I'm still quite new to this and I am wondering about the sensi bloom ph perfect system and why my runoff is about the same ph as the water going in, around 5-6. Should I be adding something to raise that some? Why do people recommend this when its ph level is 5.5 instead of 6.5?

Don't trust the 5.5 reading and just let it be. Before I began using AN's pH Perfect line, I did a lot of research and what I found was that the people that had the most complaints about the pH Perfect technology were the people that insisted on monitoring their pH. Those of us that never check it never seem to have any issues.
I appreciate the input but how do you know you are getting the best yield or not? I'm trying to maximize things and a 5.5 is not a good ph level.

If I see burnt tips, I know that I'm using too much nutes. If I see deficiency, I assume that I'm not using enough. If I ever see signs of pH needing adjustment, I'll address that but I don't see it happening (for me, at least) ..I know that sounds too simple, but that combined with having a system that's been dialed in lets me know what works and what doesn't. Bear in mind that what might work, in regards to environment, changes from season to season. So, a lot of it is based on personal successes AKA trial and error. It's all part of the hobby and it's how a lot of us learn.

And as I understand it, AN's nutes are chelated to work over a wide range of pH levels so what your pen says is not something to worry about. I know it sounds too good to be true and I didn't believe it until I saw if for myself. Anyway, I gotta run. Good luck!

If everything looks good nutrient-wise then you're on the right track (if it works don't fix it) ..Since you have that nailed down, and depending on the age of your plant(s) ..low stress training (LST) can be done to help increase your yields. You might also want to consider starting a grow journal here on RiU. Tons of good people here that are always willing to offer up help when needed.
Just entered week 5 with Blue Dream but I think I will do the journal soon when I try growing white widow. I used LST, lollypopping and a single top crop. Seems like she should be looking better than this by now but I still have 5-6 wks left:

A lot can happen in five or six weeks. Especially since they put on the most weight in the last two weeks. Have a look at growdiaries.com and checkout the progress of others that have grown Blue Dream.

About right for just over 400w I'd say m8 so don't stress about it , is she a big plant ? Could you take a full picture of her for us Im just interested to see how she looks seeing your kinda new , looks like your doing really well.

Here's my lineup.
My tap water is hard and EC is 0.4-0.6 and pH 7.9 and I can't get an Ro system right now so I admit I use pH down. "I hear the AN worshipers screaming Noooooooooooo lol"
I do find that once its set it stays good though and only thing that's went a little wrong for me was "I fed too much" she didn't burn tho luckily but youl see a limey look to her ,she took it well because she wants an EC of 1.3 and I took it up to 2.6 thinking she was leaching nutes back in the Res and upping the EC lol.
