Sup everyone @ R.I.U , V.T here glad to be rollin with yall! Been reading the forums for over a year now, joined up a couple months ago, now I guess, it's time for a journal
Firstly, I gotta say, big high five to all you growers out there, some truly inspirational, awe inspiriinspiring, epic SHIT going down on the R.I.U Grow journal pages, amazing guys, truly.
Secondly, I'm somewhat of a noob when it comes to growing, I'm not gunna b.s anyone, but I would appreciate any comments/feedback aimed in this direction!
So, my latest grow just came to an end and I thought of share this one with you guys. My first ever grow was a great success with 2no Sensi Seed Skunk Number 1 plants. My 2nd grow ( the one that just ran) was not so great, but seeing as the surprise hot weather here caught me out big style, I was uber stoked to be harvesting anything!
Well, enough of the B.S this is the lowdown.....
1.2 wide x 1.2 deep x 1.0 high DIY mdf box.
Ceiling, walls and floor lined with Mylar.
'Door' constructed of overlapping sheets of black and white.
5'' inline extraction fan with 5'' Rhino carbon filter.
2no 5" clip on oscillating fans.
5" intake fan drawing fresh(er) air in.
250w jumbo cool white CFL bulb with reflective hood for propagation and veg ( no ballast needed)
600w SunMaster HPS with reflective hood for flowering
Lumina digital ballast (can be dropped to 400w)
And finally....
1 no Sensi Seed Northern Lights seedling
1 no Nirvana ICE seedling.
Using Canna Terra Professional Plus soil
2" pots from seed, then 18l pots.
Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow Bloom feed , used it for both grows so far, still using the same bottles so seems to be lasting a while.
Used Dutch Pro Explode after 4 weeks flower on both runs, tbh, couldn't say one way or another if it makes a difference, as they are my only two runs.
Finally, used plant magic flush two weeks before harvest both runs also.
