severed branch

I was super cropping a PK a few days ago and got a little over zealous and managed to sever a branch by a little over 50 percent. I taped the joint and tied the branch up to the tomato caged surrounding the plant. The growth has since turned up and looks healthy. Should I remove this branch before flowering? The plant was topped at the third node so I would like to save the branch as i would loose a third of the plant. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Leave it be it'll grow just fine I done it too.

How long did you let it heal before the flip?

tape up and support the branch. Iv never had a 100% cut off branch live but IV never had an 80% branch that I taped up die.
Had entire plants split in the middle... all. fine.
