Sex

From most that I read, it seems you can't really 100% gauge the sex of a plant 'til it flowers, when it reveals its sexual organs. Do any vegging plants ever reveal organs early? If a vegetative plant smells like "skunk" does that give any indication? Just wondering. Everything online is so opinionated...eager to hear yours.

smelling like skunk is not an indication of sex. you will be able to sex plant about 2 weeks after changing the lights to 12 on and 12 off. good luck....

The type of smell is no indication, however, I have noticed that females tend to smell stronger, even before flowering.

Just like ijustgrowGREEN said, you can be 100% certain of your plants sex only after 1-2 weeks of 12/12. Any sooner is just guesswork.
