Sexing Clones

After my clones has grown a little roots, can I put it in a little rubbermade box, and use florescent light to flower it?

Will I need to vent the box? I am only interested in finding out the sex, so any unecessary step I can skip, I want to skip.

I can flower for sex with florescent light right?

k are you saying you have a plant and dont know the sex, so you took a clone to figure out the sex of the whole plant? because that makes alot more sence...

if so then i would get a 42w cfl from walmart, that should be sufficient lighting for one little clone just to figure out sex. hell if you needed you could just get a 26w. they have hoods at walmart too... heres a pic of mine, its more than you need but it gives you an idea of what to look for. you should only need one bulb and one hood. the floro would work too im sure but this would give you faster beter results. the tub will have to be vented at least a little bit, just like a few small holes or slits near the bottom and the same at the top for just general air exchange.

note. i have a y socket split in each one, thats why there is 2 bulbs per hood.

the only plant you would want to clone is a female. unless yur breeding a strain you can only get a clone of.

befor you take clones for harvest you should sex to make sure the mother is a female and all the clones from it will be 100% female.
