Hi all. I've tried browsing around and found a few tidbits of info that make me think it will work but enough to cause concern that I'm stuffing too many into the space. I'd would like to ask you guys some questions for my specific situation.
I have a 4x4 grow space (Secret Jardin DR120). After Reading Al B. Fuct's thread on "Get a Harvest Every 2 Weeks" I'd like to move toward this, realizing it cant be done in the single 4x4 space alone but I like the idea of running the 24 plants in bubbleponics every 2 months compared to 9-12 in soil every 3 months.
I was looking at the Stealth Hydro Bubbleponics Pro 2 - 24 plant grow system and the new master plan is generally as follows.
1. Keep around 4 - 6 mothers and clone as needed.
2. Once rooted, put 24 clones in and go straight to flower a la SoG. Clones would be 6-12" to start. (That's why so many mothers, to get as large a start clone to root as possible.)
3. Run the 4 Pro 6 planters in the 4x4 tent but the Pro Reservoir 2 would be run OUTSIDE of the tent. I've checked the measurements and 4 Pro 6 planters seem like they would physically fit into the 4x4 space.
Question 1: Since the clones are going straight to flower once rooted, do you guys think I will eventually have space issues with 24 plants if sent straight to flower after rooting?
Question 2: Would my yield be comparable to the yield I would get in my current setup of running 9-12 in 9x9 pots but in 2 months instead of 3? I know, I know, the whole yield question depends on so many variables that it's difficult to address, but I'm talking same strain, same environment, and a simple comparison between the 2 for each harvest.
Lighting will be a 600w HPS supplemented by 4 4' T5s mounted horizontally.
