Hey guys I bought a few CFLs today at HD. I'm almost 2 weeks into flowering stage. started this sept 15th


i clipped a few leaves off that were blocking light and topped it due to lack of room

Looks good. I would cut off all the lower branches so you could maybe get bigger buds at the top, but that's just me.

Which lower branches exactly?

By lower branches, I meant those growth nodes lining the main stem below the main mass of leaves and stems. If it was me, I'd just strip away any growth on the "trunk" from the soil line up to the "bushy" part of the plant. On the other hand, if you want to try getting a second crop of buds from that plant, you might want to leaves a couple of the nodes intact so they can grow into new, big branches. But don't do anything drastic until you get feedback from someone besides me. I'm no expert.
