I started my first grow the 2nd week of april. my plants did great for almost 2 weeks and them suddenly shrivled up and died over night.
I germinated and planted another batch and after 1 week something ate half of them to the stem in 1 night.. I sprayed safer 3 in 1 and the next day they were shrivled up and dead.
I germed/planted another set and put them on the 2nd story balcony (all others were in field) to get them started before bugs could get ahold. Something ate all but 4 to the root.
I planted another set. Over the past 3 days the 4 good ones i had died. I had spider mites and used a supposedly safe incesticide/neem oil when they were looking nearly dead... came back today and they were all brown looking like they got hit with roundup. The newest set is getting hit by alphids atm. I have been using safer 3 in 1 for bugs as well as dermiteous earth and a wire cage for animals.

Im almost up to 400 dollars and have gotten nowherekiss-ass

Obviously at this point what you're doing isn't working for the environment you're in. So, change your methods...Seek help from someone local. Ask at a garden center of some sort what type of bugs do you have to look out for in your area and what will work for them without killing your plants...And thats just off the top of my head.

The thing is it's not like theres one thing killing them everytime... its always something different. I've done tons of talking to the owner of the hydro shop. It also doesnt help that my water ph is 8 and my soil is below 6. I initially get runoff aroun 7 when flushing but after that it goes down to 6ish. I've already tried promix and the plants just shriveled up and died for no reason. I know its not a watering problem, and a lot of them died too early for it to be nute lockout

What are the temps like outside were you have them? Were are all the bugs from? do you have other plants that you should treat as well? Just thinking outloud.

Thats how u learn dude. I never harvested anything til my 3rd grow. This is why I don't understand y noobs spend $100's + on seeds, grow bagseed til u get it...right?

Have u tried using a sterilized soil? alot of potting mixes out there come with pests and diseases already growing in them. U could just cook ur soil and let it cool before having another go...good clean soil is #1 in my book.

Also, tobacco water serves as a good pest preventative from my exp. Empty a few cigs in some boiling water and spray that on your seedlings.....let it cool down beforehand of course.

your problem is the water you are watering your plants with guaranteed. go to the store and buy however much pure clean water you can and dont use your hose water or sink water. always treat your plants more special than common other house plants.

They are very close to a treeline at the edge of a field. The initial treeline is not too tall so they get a lot of sun. But there is a lot of bugs i guess bc theyre going from the field to the shaded wooded area? The weather varies a lot.. it was upper 70s in the day and maybe low 50s at night then we got a few days of low 60s/40s... could that fast weather change with rain cause them to go in shock and die or somethin?
