Short but wide grow pots.

Growing in a height limited area. What are some good 3 gallon pots that are short but wide?

Also, any other tips for growing in a space that is only 135 cm (4.5ft) tall.

Thanks
go with a 10 gln or larger grow bag and cut off some of the top material. LST and start early to train the plants to grow wide and flat. You can top or FIM them or just keep tying the top down to make the rest grow. use the best soil you can get.

Thats good advice. Im height restricted as well. I use 10 or 15 gal, chopped, stiff farbic pots and get great yields.

4.5 feet? Wow, I'd grow sog style with as many small clones as you can but that's just me. 3 gallon fabric pots give me some pretty damn big plants! Geopot makes fabric bed liners that come with a frame, you could buy one to fit your space and fill it as much or as little as you please to help get a nice wide pot, but you'd be putting multiple plants in the same medium. Here's the link if you wanna check em out.

Can you fill me in on your grow space size and yields?
im using a bathtub it measures out to about 28" x 50". It's got 7' ceiling but I ve got a huge filtercan up top taking up ~20". I can fit 3 15 gals or 4 10's. Im not growing for yield so i dont jam it full. I usually grow 1-3 plants at a time. I can yield 8z off of 1 good grower in a 10gal. I have very high ppfd. i grow in soil. I veg my plants out to a good size and train them relentlessly, (to be bushy)`. Here's a pic of 3 ladies, day 12, 12/12. i think there is a 5 a 10 and 15 gal in that pic. These had been outside and needed to be inconspicuous. i coudlnt use all 15's because of fear of detection.9-4-16.jpg

EDIT: in these pics the pots aren't cut, rather they are partially filled. I fill the pots 2/3-3/4 usually if i know it's gonna be a stocky indica I might fill it up

Good looking plants. What training techniques do you use and at what point in their growth?

Thanks man, I do anything it takes to keep them from growing out of control. They always get topped or fim'ed and almost always poke wires through the edge of the pots and tie branches down. Once the plant gets 4-6 nodes I discourage the formation of any leaders by super cropping or tying down. When they get super bushy i clear out some of the inside and lower vegetation. These plants probably have had close to an 8 week veg, they have already been through plenty of training.

I dont anticipate any trouble with too much heat or irradiance from my light with these ladies. They dont have all that much stretch left in them.

Would you suggest topping/FIMing/super cropping if I was planning on scrogging?
