should i buy this setup?

will 150W + supplemental CFL's (2x cool 15W , 2x 15W warm ) ( DIY'd onto y socket be able to support 2 females growing in a closet in some fox farms soil ? ( yes i've got ventilation/smell/nutes and watering schedules set up )


question 2: if it will work to get my plant through 2-3 months of veg , could i just switch out the lightbulb and use the other one ( can't remember the letters ) that is for the flowering stage?

150 hps should take you all the way through the cycle. HPS are usually used for flowering. MH (metal hydride) are used for veg. Some/alot use HPS all the way through though. I would recomend, for veg the 150 HPS with 6500K cfl's then when switch to flower use 2700k cfl's. Why are you veg'in for 2-3 months ? I am not familiar really with soil grow's but, never heard that long of veggin. Most people will tell you get a 400 watt hps etc. What you have will do the job, although more is always better with lighting that is with proper vents and fans etc.

Oyeah, with the 150 hps the reflector is ok. You can go to walmart and get a candle glass tube and make your own cool tube setup chhhheaaap. You will be able to get the light closer to the plants with out heat issues or burn, thus giving the ladies more loving ya dig....
