so Im about to begin my fist grow in a Organic soil mix ..

was told that correcting my water to 6,5 would not be nesseary ...

tru or not ?

I may add that I have realy clean tap water (one thing that is great about Denmark is that we have realy clean ground water)
but since it sits in lime stone its PH comes out around 7,5 will that be a problem or will the soil correct it as I was told ?

Your microbiology takes care of your ph for you, as long as you dont kill them all off. To be safe go get some lime and mix a tablespoon per gallon or 1 cup per 1 cubic foot of soil and Mother nature shall reward you

ahh thanks Mista ..

and I got Lime in my mix .. actualy Ocan Lime (Plagron Mearl) also keeps a lot of trace elements .. realy good to bounce PH

I guess I schould have wrote a littel about my soil mix but did try to keep it simple to get some simple answers ..

in short:

Basic:

3 parts Plagron Organic all mix (peetmoss/perlit/wormcasting/aso)

1 part coco

added:

blood meal
bone meal

Mearl

Epsom salt

guano (15% P)

yucca

kelp

humic acids

Im kind a new to this ..
but my goal would be to grow from start to finish just watering .. maybe use my Guano tea Veg/bloom if needed along the way ..

p.s.
my mix for my flowering pots will hold no blood meal and more guano (P)

You don't need to pH anything. Not nutes or water or any liquid.

I HATE *marl*!!!! SoFla is pretty much solid limestone (old coral seabed) and a lot of crushed limestone gets used for un-paved roads (we spell it 'marl'). Cheap, plentiful and blindingly white, it sticks like glue after a rain everywhere on your vehicle. When the sun dries it, it becomes like concrete and hard to remove.

But, added to soil mixes or lawns or gardens, it works wonders for years. I love it for that.

Wet

thats great news :)

thanks .. I hate to correct my water and add nuts aso.

will look forword to this grow .. realy hope it will run smootly ..

btw
it must be realy green in Sofia (is that Sofia Buligaria ?) if your streets is full of mearl :D

LOL, not Sofia, SoFl. Short for South Florida, USA. Like Miami, Ft.Lauderdale. Yes, very green there.

Wet

I'm with wet. Don't worry about it. Target pH can cause as many problems as it avoids. Let your microbes do the pH adjusting!
