Should I harvest these autoflowers

I know that I'm probably a week or so from harvest, but a LOT of my leaves are yellowing and so are the sugar leaves. I think I had some deficiencies early in flowering. They are on day 63. The pistils are about 50/50 white/brown. I checked the triches and I don't have ANY amber yet, but a lot of cloudy. They are in my closet under a 600 watt hps. I'm scared they will start getting bud rot or something if I let them go longer. Strain is Skyrone Stomper and Bubbly Blues from mephisto genetics

So close to harvest and before any sort of rot sets in, I would pull it and get another one going...

What you got there is toxic salts buildup. Excess salts from nutes and tap water, if you use that, cause the leaves to get all brown and crispy. Won't cause bud rot but will make your smoke harsh and taste "off".

You could flush them well, 3X the volume of the pots, then let them go a little longer but they are close to finishing so they'd need 2 more weeks for the condition to improve and make a difference to the smokeability.

Once most of the hairs are red and trichs 50/50, clear/cloudy, THC is at it's peak. Amber indicates the THC is degrading to CBN, not CBD, and tho your high will be more stony/couchlocky you're getting less THC.

I agree with oldmeduser. Next time mix nutes starting at 1/4 strength and work up to 1/2. Water until 20-30% runoff to prevent salt buildup.

Minimal salts in molasses if any. I just used 3 tbsp in 4.5gal to feed my girls after repotting today.

It's tap water and nutrient salts combined that most often causes it. The minerals in tap water get left behind every watering and build up just like they do in a kettle. pH runs up to 8 and can't be knocked down by using pHed water. Leaves get overloaded with salts and basically burn up and go all crispy.

Happens often with RO water too because people keep the ppm too high for too long after the stretch when loads of nutes are not needed. Just the right amount of the right ones.

I still get it a bit until I back off later in flowering if I'm not careful and each strain is different.

Don't want to hijack this thread but have to ask! Doesn't flushing drown plants? How does it work exactly? I'm a little worried about salt build-up because I use almost pure coco, but I feel like if I flush with 3-4 times the volume of my containers then I'm just asking for root rot and all kinds of problems...

Flushing won't make the root ball any wetter than a thorough watering. It will disolve the built up salts and get them out of there. It's a low process tho and it helps to have a wet vac if you can't set the pots in a sink or bathtub while you do the flush. Even using tap water that contributed greatly to the salts buildup will remove excess salts tho RO will do a better job as it as more capacity to absorb salts as it starts with none of it's own.

The last thing you should flush thru is a 1/4 - 1/2 strength mix of whatever nutes you feed the plants so they aren't starving while you wait days for the soil to dry out enough to water the plant again.

If you are using hard water on your plants then a regular flushing will help keep them healthy. Much less to worry about if you use RO.
