No.
1) Wait until all pistils are amber
2) Wait until they contract/shrivel into the buds.
3) If you have a jeweler's loop or decent camera, check the trichomes ON THE CALYXES, not on leaves. THC is highest when trichomes are milky.

Not sure but your leaves look very very dark as well, reduce your Nitrogen in my opinion. Good luck bro!when-to-harvest-cannabis-diagram.jpg

Drop cycle to 10/14 ( force finish ) while on your water regiment - which let plant begin to exhaust reserves in leaf.

High nitrogen can and does impact formation of buds , so does lighting ... if lighting is a little under 35w/ sq ft for your grow / overall growth time will extend. Dark shiny leaf is a symptom of nitrogen excess - which isnt good during flower -BUT nitrogen is STILL used to help photosynthesis and cellular health just in a lower amount.

Many growers often FORCE FLOWER and Force Finish ( which mimics impending winter ) to the plants.

Autos are sure a messed up genetic, I get 5 seeds for a pack and the all grow, flower and finish at their own rate, I get nitrogen toxicity when I feed grow formula to them, only flower feed from seed keeps toxicity away. Your pic would make good thumbnail when zoomed in.

I run more autos than I can remember.... All autos are pretty much overthought , they want simple feeds and static light cycles .

However , many “ so called breeders “ sling S1 autos or fem to fems. So getting a reliable and or “ consistent “ autoflower can be hit or miss. This also goes back to breeders “ fleshing out the lines “ with deeper generations . Mephisto seeds does this and always sell strong and consistent cuts.

Other breeders have great offerings , but sometimes you will get a strain that needs “ help “.

Help in way of “ finishing “ hence light cycle play .... example : 18/6 standard light cycle ( start to harvest ) may drag at late flower so dropping to 12/12 can but boot in ass to complete.

Some will need “ help “ in flowering too , SAY 18/6 for weeks and no pistils , no signs of Preflower - etc.
Then the grower needs to treat it like a photoperiod and FLIP it to 12/12. Autoflower traits can even show in REG PHOTOSTRAINS too.

I give any “ autos “ the benefit of the doubt, to self flower by at least week 6 from seed. Most will begin , day 35 (ish) - with some changing earlier ( had one day 22 ) and some that NEED to be flipped.

Harvesting to early is the biggest newb mistake. After a while youll learn to just let it finish and stop counting days and weeks. When those hairs amber and shrivel back into the buds is what I look for. Then I let it go another week just to make sure. Purpling and pretty colors are sometimes a sign that you are just very close.
