Should I have done this?

So my confidential cheese is 7 weeks into flowering... ALOT of the fan leave were turning yellow so I decided to cut the entire leaf off at the stem so it would allow more light to hit the bottom buds...but, I knida went a little over board and cut alot nof leafs. so my question is, is my plant going to be okay untill harvest? it seems to be fine, but i am just nervous I guess,

It wont grow much more, but it should mature to harvest. It would probably be a good idea to ask before performing such a radical procedure next time.

as long as it WAS dieing (turning yellow) then there was no harm. Healthy green leaves are critical to resin production.

your good man, you can actually cut every fan leaf off and still have a plant that grows (will just take a while because the plant has to re grow them leaves so its kinda stupid to do it)

with my plants i just took the leaves off that pulled off easily, any resistance and i left it alone. the plant will shed unwanted leaves when it wanst to

I did the exact same thing on my first grow with no ill effects. I started trimming a couple and then I had a shoe box full lol.
