Should I top or fim with a limited grow space ?

I had originally planned to fim plants to get all the colas and speedy recovery . but I'm beginning to think topping may be better


The grow space I have is not very tall it's enough for 2 plants but height I'm limited to 60-80 cm from soil to 12 inch space from light .. I can extend this but atm Im focusing on the space i currently have.

I was initially going to fim followed by lst .

My only concern is growing multiple colas and not having enough space or stealing light from other plants .

Would topping me more manageable ?

Hey dude, I don't know how to FIM, but I have the same problem in my tent, it's a 2x4x5, I only have like 80 cm as well to grow my plants in. I think either topping or fimming will help, what I recommend you is to put a net and scrog your plants, that's what I did and helped me a lot to control the stretch from my plants.

I would top at the 4th or 5th node and heavily LST them. If they are still getting too tall then you can super crop them before you go into flower

A nice scrog setup is nice for short spaces allows you to grow wide plants and keeps all your tops around the same height from the light so they arnt blocking each other out
