sick plants

outdoors, i ph the water, yes proper drainage, but i don't think the soil was drying out fast enough. miracle-gro potting soil, i cut off nutes completely.

miracle-SHIT-soil, guess i know the cause of trouble then... patch, how did such a noob happen to you? in addition that you went for a mix without perlite too, i guess by the pics...

stuff doesn't drain well and holds time released killers, terrible mix, so get them out of it and pant them in quality soil with at lease 20% perlite to it;)

mmh sorry, bit lost right now...

no the nutes in this stuff are time released but released unevenly. if you got now this soil-mix quite moisted the stuff speeds up and even more then normal is given of into it and this kills plants as you can see. if you know add even nutes to this you heavily over-nute.

the fix to it is to dig the plant out, wash the shit carefully of, floated it off if possible, and plant it in a good soil mix with perlite.
if this is done wait a few days before you start to nute lightly-that can wait for a week or two depending on the plants size and strain. for the first days pH'ed water is more then enough;)

okay, i cleaned off a significant portion of the soil and i mixed some perlite with potting soil and threw some in the bottom of the container and put the smaller chunk of soil on top of the perlite/soil mix. i'll wait and see what will happen. i think i ripped too many roots. if i ripped the bottom 1/3 of all the roots in the pot, is it more than likely that the plant will die?

well u should have paid attention to them before they got that bad. you shouldve took them out of that dirt put them in new dirt. and when u did that you could have looked at the roots to see if they were rotted. that sucks tho dude i am sorry for ur loss
