Side lighting help

i am growing one plant just to get the hang of things but am wanting to add to my growbox for the improved second run and was looking for side lighting ideas. i am low on funds so cannot do anything excessive. i currently have four cfls connected to a power strip . any ideas on wat i can get to b a cheap effective side light or any feedback on rope lights

For side lighting depending on what you've got for dimentions to work with, you could use more CFL's or maybe some 24" flourecent tubes? They are relatively inexpensive, but make sure you use a good amount of bulbs like add two on top of each other in the front and back, get them as close as you can to the plants without touching, thats the trick with CFL's is keeping that light nice and close without burning.
