...MORE THAN TWO years after Ross Ulbricht was arrested in a San Francisco and accused of creating and running the Dark Web drug bazaar known as the Silk Road, a manhunt on the other side of the world has found the man believed to be Ulbricht’s closest adviser and mentor: Variety Jones.
The complaint also identifies Clark as the owner of a UK-based marijuana seed business. In his 300-plus posts to the Silk Road forums, Clark’s alleged pseudonym Variety Jones described himself as a marijuana connoisseur with more than 2,500 strains of seeds in his “seed vault.”

Based on my review of open source corporate records for UK businesses that I found on the internet, I know that <Variety Jones> is listed on a UK corporate filing for a UK based company called "Gypsy Nirvana Limited," which indicates that "<Variety Jones>" was a director of the company, and lists him as a Canadian national, born on September 13 1961. In a chat recovered from the Ulbricht Computer dated June 28 2012, "cimon" informed Ulbricht that "cimon" had "created the Gypsy Nirvana nic," and that "a guy in England started a seed biz using my name, and me promo'ing it in public." Based on my training and experience, and my familiarity with this investigation, I believe that in this conversion, "cimon" admitted to being involved with Gypsy Nirvana Limited, which, as noted above, was a UK based company for which <JONES> served as director.
It's fucked all around.
