SIZE of container/pot need advice!

hi! i've started growing my first marijuana plant about a month and a half ago. i've been growing them outdoors and i can't seem to have them grow more leaves.. i don't have pictures yet but hopefully i'll have them within the day. i was just wondering if there would be a minimum measurement of container diameter for my plants.. I've kept them in a 10 inches diameter container the whole time.. and i was also wondering in how many months could you be able to see your plant's sex?.. please answer and thank you! peace!!

You only need to upgrade your container if the plant is pot bound. It will look like its wilting even if it has water when its really bad. Pot bound means all the roots are up against the side of the pot. I usually veg at a 2.5 gallon pot and flower in a 5 gallon pot.
