slight re-flower after 8 weeks flower + 36 hour dark....wtf?

no pics atm, but if necessary I can post a few. I am 8 weeks into flowering on my small grow, and just brought em out from the fabled 24-36 hr dark period before harvest. Flushing for 2 weeks, expecting some nice tric action after the nap, yet all I see are fresh white haired preflowers growing from the almost finished buds?

any thoughts, advice? do i have to let all the new ones finish now too?

Its sounds like your plant is not quite ready, but there is not much we can do without some visual aids.
