Slow Grow

Does this seem short for 5 weeks? Looks healthy and is growing. Lighting is consistant 18/6. I usually water every night shortly before turning out the lights but sometimes wait 12-24 hours later then norm. Only using 1 40W CFL atm, was going to use smaller ones for angles and around, should i be using them by now or too soon?

Looks fine exept the soil that is like mud. The cannabis plant is a weed, she doesnt need wateribg every day. Reduce the watering to once every 2 days mabye 3 the soil need to be dried out inside for the next watering

More perlite in the mix may help it grow faster next time. The roots like lots of breathing room.

Transplant into well aerated soil, well aerated pot and she'll be off to the races. Pretty healthy looking though just quite the bonsai effect atm.

it looks pretty short for 5 weeks, yes. looks good though. don't water until it dries up some.

definitely cut back the watering bro. a good visual tip for watering is when the soil starts to contract from the wall of the container.

also, turn up the light as much as possible. the greater amount of light that is being exposed the greater your garden will be.

iv had my plants from seedlings under 600w hps 18/6 and they seem 2 do fine aslong as the light is not 2 close causing heat problems it works a treat

id also air rate the water befor u feed as there in soil (use either airstone n pump, or or you can use this alternative get a syringe and by suckin water up and shooting it back in this will create air in the water)

No, it doesn't look good for 5 weeks. As others have said, get a decent planting medium, looks to me like there is little to no drainage and that has effected the plants root zone and ability to take up water and nutrients. As a result, slow stunted growth rates.
