Small time closet grow

Looking to setup a small time closet grow. So far I'm just going to do a soil grow, just need some info on lights, and other suggestions as far as my ideas of what I'm going to do.

In a hotter climate, so need to know what kind of light I should go with. Either looking at getting a 150W HPS or a 250W HPS depending on what I can get away with heat wise. Usually my house stays at about 78degrees, currently I can't get a mini AC unit so I've got very little to work with as far as keeping it cool. Thankfully, winter is coming up and it will be colder inside.

I'd like to add that I'm looking at getting one of those 150W HPS flood lights as opposed to one made by the hydroponic companies due to the cheapness. Unless I can get away with using a 250W HPS, than that'll definitely be bought from a hydroponics company.

I just need to know how much I can expect temperature to increase with each light.

Now, my grow room specs are as follows (this is just flower):
2x2 foot space and it's about 5' tall.
Either going to use a 150W or a 250W HPS.
I'm going to try and get away with using some medium to large size CPU fans. I want to stay away from centrifugal fans, they're too loud.
This is all enclosed inside of a PVC pipe framed structure with that stuff that is black on one side and white on the other.

Those are the specs for the area. I plan on growing in soil like I stated before, at least to start out. I want to grow these plants pretty large, thinking I'm going to veg them to about 2' hoping during flowering they'll get to 4'. I only want two MAYBE four plants in flower, not sure yet if I want to harvest every month or every other month harvest it all. Also not sure yet if I want to top them, fim them, or just let them grow.

Thinking about adding CO2, but just with the yeast+sugar method.

Anything suggestions in what I have said, and anyone know what lights would best suit my needs?

Kinda wrote a lot I know, but I just try to type out everything I can think of so I get more specific answers. My main concern is what light to get, I believe everything else I have wil be fine, but I do really appreciate any constructive criticism as I know everyone here is more experienced than me.

Thanks guys!

a 4 foot plant just isn't going to work, the penetration of light from a 250W HPS light is only 2 feet, so you don't want your plants to be too much higher than that. a 4 foot plant would have 2 feet of wasted fluffy bud that did not see much light.

Don't worry about the CO2 for now, if its your first few grows just try to grow a plant, no need getting fancy and screwing things up using advanced techniques right now.

Get a separate fan just to point at the light to keep it cool, use the 250 watt, get an intake fan and a exhaust fan on top of light fan. Keep it cool.

No answer on the heat though, that's my main concern about the 250W. Would a PC type fan suffice on a 250W?

Not to mention at 4' tall, I wasn't planning on just using the 150W HPS, I was going to put some CFL's closer to the bottom.

Heat right now I feel will be my largest issue.

Do you think keeping them shorter but doing a few more lollipop style would be a better option for me?
