I hoped that would get someone's attention...
Anyway, the question is: when you're fertilizing & keeping a plant indefinitely, like a mother plant, how often do you flush her and do you use pure tap, ph adjusted or water + a product like FloraKleen when you do the flush and how long do you flush/leach the medium, say a continuous drip system in hydroton.
Also, say you're growing a plant through it's complete life cycle (from veg to flower to harvest) How often do you flush the system there? Only in the final weeks or every month? And again, if more than just the last week or two, how long does the flushing process last?
Finally, I thought that nutes were used in every watering. Yes? Say, General Hydroponics nutes are the ones in question. Or are you supposed to water at times with only PH adjusted water? How does one do this (if it is needed) when using a reservoir and you've presumably mixed up a batch of nutrients for that stage of the plant's life cycle? Do yo just drain it, add the flushing solution (whatever that may be) and let it run for a day or so?
