So I got a free MH bulb and inline duct fan

At my company we were cleaning out our stoarge room full of random junk. It was piling up so I had to go through and clean out the shit. While I was sorting I was keeping in mind anything that I could possibly use for my hobby. While I was digging through I found a bunch of old aluminum ventilation hose, a 175 watt MH bulb, and a 140 cfm inline duct fan, what a score I know. Now the only thing that I was curious about was the light bulb. I looked around for a ballast but had no luck. I don't have a clue what else this would even be used for, growing plants or what. It seems like an odd size but I'm gonna be doing a small grow anyways. Does anyone know how I would go about making use of the light? The inline fan is a 12v I think this is a DC. Its definitely big enough for what I'm doing, It'll probably be overkill actually. Anyone know how I could safetly rig something like this up? I'm sure I'll find some more stuff in the next few days. Instead of going into the trashcan it'll be going to serve a better purpose, maybe its a good omen, haha.

just to start get a box about 2 foot squ. put your babys in pots, and rest some flos over,the plants about 2 to4 ", for best results. for the first few weeks, and water every 2 to 3 days.
just vegg some for now, you can get flos from the hardware store, verry cheap.
and youll be ok for 4 to 5 weeks.
and in that time, sort out a grow closet and hang your lite, and put in your fan and your off.

any pics of the light, there are many diff kinds, hard to answer your question, with out seeing.
but the mh mite be a litte hot for the first 3 weeks of a plants life, so thats why flos are best to start, esp, if your new to growing.
then after a few weeks of the flos, when there big enuf, then you could user your mh, if you get it sorted.
but for 12/12 flowering. for 4 plants youll need a 250hps.
for 6 a 600 hps and so on,
best just getting a 250 hps for 4 plants for 12/12.

I'm sure a lot of people use 250's but I'm trying to think a little long term too. One day I'll get a bigger apartment and I'll need a 400 or even a 1000. Yea, I mean its only the bulb, nothing more. It isn't even the right bulb for flowering unfortunately. I may just go floros all the way, switching to the red spectrum ones for flowering. Its a powerful fan for a small op like mine. I just need to figure out how to wire the damn thing without it catching on fire, haha. Maybe a computer fan and some ONA gel is all I need for ventilation and smell control, remember its only a couple plants, probably 4 tops. Well I'll post some pics and you guys can tell me what you think.
