So there's a fire near my house... and it's raining ash

I'm in the Santa Barbara area where the ash is thick from the La Brea Fire in Santa Maria, so i know what you mean about ash coming down. Since your not flowering yet it won't hurt them. You can give them a little spray of water to clean them up if you want, but I wouldn't sweat it if I were you. Now if they were budding it makes the finished product look a little funky, but it doesn't hurt the smoke at all. I had some flowering outside during the Jesusita Fire a few months ago and it put some little black and white specks in the buds, but it tasted just fine. I do have three kushes in full flower right now so if this continues I will throw some clear plastic over them for a couple days until the ash dies down.

Haha I'm in SB too. :-P

Unfortunately I am flowering but I'm only at the earliest stage (several calyxs emerging from nodes) so I doubt it will have too much of an effect.

Thanks for all the responses!

Yeah Slayed, put it back where you had it. It'll be fine. That is unless your house is on fire, then ash in your bud is the least of your problems. LOL, good luck.
