Soaking Seeds in Fresh Aloe

Anyone have experience soaking seeds in fresh aloe? Or Aloe Juice? Perhaps Coconut Juice?

Someone here mentioned aloe and I've been wondering about it, but I have forgotten who said it. I haven't seen it mentioned often.

I think it would work, but would like input on the potential for it to DECREASE germination rate compared to just soaking in water, using paper towels, or planting seeds directly. How long would you let them soak? Any other ideas or input are appreciated, thanks!

The more is better disease.
Someone else heard that your plants grow huge when you use jizz as a fert......Now what do you think we said to him about that?

Aloe wont do any better then water. Besides, water has been used by nature since the beginning of time.....Save the aloe and use it on your sunburn next year.

Miracle Gro Moisture Control potting soil, peat cups or plugs or whatever and a seedling heat mat. Moisten the soil, push your finger in to the past the nail and drop the seed in. Voila. 100% germination with sprouts up in 3 days.4 at the most. Paper towels and everything else is totally unneeded. I marvel at the bullcrap people get hung upon just popping a seed.

I know there's nutes in it but who cares? They are not in it long enough to matter and I never have a problem.

I soak all my 'old' seeds in RO water with 20% Aloe Vera sap,

crushed and mixed from a 2 inch tip of a aloe leaf strain thru a sieve into the RO water,

add seeds, allow them to sink 8-12 hours, then to the damp kitchen towel

If really old, older than 18 months I may scarify them too

the Aloe Vera is used as a surfactant, to allow the water to penetrate the seed shell

quicker and easier, without the seed shell absorbing all them crap salts thats in our water

I also foilar feed that same water to the plants come germ time

Good Luck
