SoCal 4x4 tent + greenhouse

okay so a while back this guy and i started talking about my previous grow in a closet. he wanted to grow like i did and i wanted to grow more too but one problem, i couldn't afford all the right equipment and he had no room so presto. our own collective. im the farmer most of the time and he finances it. he trusts me plenty and i trust him so its perfectly fine because my last grow was fine with another partner.

so after a few months of talking about it and finally having the money we got a 4x4 tent, a 4 foot 6 bulb t5 light fixture and a 10x20 green house to flower the plants once they reach maturity inside. we can flower in the winter and our autos will flower all year around no matter the sun light.

so that is the plan to grow and vend to local clinics. Pretty much a dream job to any stoner. california rocks only because of this reason. so great here!

i keep typing too much.
oh well.

so then a fellow grower who is local to me donated the plants to get us jump started because they are pretty big already.

Awsome grow man. Glad to see some more local farmers around here. I live real close to you and actually go to riverside 3 times a week. Are there clubs in san bern county? Never see any when im cruisin around. Always lookin for new clientel.

got the extractor fan and duct and timer. now we are goin full throttle. much cooler with it hooked up. the room is way less humid. its nice. didnt cost 2 much either.

Yeah man it was so damn hot today, supposed to be even hotter tmrw. Thank god im not runnin the lights during the day anymore. Glad to see u got the heat issue handled.

hell yeah. a collective grow. and yah i have my light running now at night. have to fix the duct work tomorrow. hang to the ceiling. it works great its not that humid anymore in there.

here are sum pictures. the first two are of the new inline booster fan, rated over 400 cfm its perfect for what we have going on because its all free flow since its just straight ducting from tent to window. no filter or hood. tent is about 100 something cubic feet so this fan is more than enough we can even hook up a router speed control to turn it down.




inside the tent. 4 hindu and 4 purple kush and 2 sour d, bell pepper and 1 short stuff onyx auto flower seed.

I am diggen the update cant wait to start getting opinions from the indoor guys! I know there is lots of us down here in socal! So far its been fun always wanted to get a tent. Looks like its dialed in now

That fan should do the trick but its just a booster fan so hopefully its pullin enough air. I got the same exact fan as my intake, works great but there not really 400cfm, especially when u hook up ducting to it. I ono where the companies get these numbers from

Edit: after watching the video I thought id throw in my 2 cents. If u wanna make that much more efficientt you should first of all have the fan pulling air out instead of pushing (much more efficient) and u need to take out those sharp turns in ur ducting. You lose a shit load of cfm when u have a 90 degree turn like that. So if you can support the ducting somewhoe to make the tuurn gradual and it will work much better.

ya i kno bout the ducting.im goin to move it to the back window its more of a straight run. also the fan has to be inside the tent because its pretty loud outside. its pushing a lot of air tho the tent is super cool compared to with it off

Try wrapping that fan in mattress egg crate foam, and hook it up directly to the window, that should help muffle it.
