Social Workers

What can I expect from a court appointed social worker? She wants to come to my house to talk to my son and I, I made the appointment for next week. What are some of their common practices? I want to add that where I live, there has been a couple social workers killed over the last few years when they are at the homes of the people. So, the social workers sometimes bring an officer for their protection. I dont know if that will be the case this time or not.

well i guess it depends on your background history and why the social worker is there
usually they might give the house a quick once over
id get everything out of the house for that night just in case

There is no history. Up until now, when my son got busted for going to school stoned.

I had the same thing happen to me. The worker never even went anywhere other than my living room. I was freaked at first because the back of my home smelled like a ganja farm really bad, lol. The worker left and never came back, even though she was ordered for weekly home visits. I am so glad I do not have to deal with this any longer.
Just keep your cool, and the smell down, youll have no problems.
