Hey guys,
Im preparing my soil from my grow, and it turns out its a light brown color, a little orange, and looks like of clay but feels like soil. It has grass growing over it in some parts, but in others when I dig it up there are worms and stuff living in it. My question is if the soil is ok, or what else should i add to it? What can i do to ensure my plants will not have root rot and will have enough O2?
ALSO, very important. My grow spot that is on a hill, id say about a 45 degree slope. Will this help with drainage, or what will this do? Do i need extra drainage, or should i have water-holding aids in my soil mix (ie. vermiculite).
Attached is a picture of the soil and a picture of the slope.
PS what animal is that poop?
