How much perlite should I mix with my FFOF in 3 gallon smart pots

Not a whole lot since FFOC already has some in it

Perhaps a Qt or 2? IDK, I like a very light mix.

My motto AFA perlite goes is, "If it looks like there's too much, it's just right".

ahhh , I fill the bottom quarter of my containers and then mix a little more in if think they didnt put enough ! I love perlite - use the shit outa it !! good drainage - more oxegenation - cant go wrong ... even a bit extra nitrogen if you get the right kinds
