Soil Question

I went out and transplanted my plant into a bigger bucket and fresh soil. The soil is just SOIL theres nothing in it. Right now ALL i have is mircale grow houseplant food liquid 8-7-6. My question is what else could I buy that would be good nurts for the plant? Since the soil is just plain potting soil?

I just topped the plant, Im trying to get the other leaves on the bottom to grow.

I would reccomend something to make the soil lighter and more airy for flow of oxygen to the roots. Peat is good for just adding ligtness perlite is good too. Here are good forums here that give good proportions for diy soil mixes. Just need to find the rigt balance of holding water yet leaving room for air.

any general all purpose fertilizer will work.
