Soil To Hydro?

can i transplant a plant that ive had growing in soild into a hydro setup? ive recently built a 5 gallon bubble system and id like to switch one of my plants into it but they are about 1 week into veg, what should i do?

I was wondering the same thing if anyone can help us please post your knowledge!!

i have done it once before with a plant that was in a 3 inch diameter pot and didn't see any adverse effects. what i did do was wait till the soil was dry and firm and gently broke of the loose soil at the bottom being careful not to damage the roots. placed it in the net. roots hanging through into the water and filled the sides and top with clay pebbles. if the roots dont reach water through the top but not to much as to run straight through . i have known of people having problems with the soil getting wet and running down the roots discoloring them and affecting the ph, they probably put to much water in the bucket and through the top. but it worked for me. good luck
