honestly that's a hard question to ask. it depend on what your trying to yield. if ur talkin bout 16 plants then i would say hydro because of the fact that u can put them all in one container.

but if ur trying to go with just 2 or 3 plants i would go with CFL soil growth. it's cheaper.

well i was thinking hydro would be cheap because its just water and nutrients with the proper pump system. but my employer went with soil. :(

Depends on a variety of factors including experience level. If you are new to growing go with soil. More experienced growers usually switch to hydro because it is more economical for larger grows.

From experience soil grows produce looser buds with higher terpin levels. More taste and flavor in the buds.
If you want to pack on weight go with hydro.
