Soldier Goes Patient

Hey everybody whats up. I'm a active duty u.s. army soldier on jan 13th of last year some asshole ran a stop sign and t-boned my car on the drivers side when i was on my way to physical training. He was also a soldier and was texting so he didn't see the stop sign or me. Since then i have been fighting the army docs to give me the treatment i need. Recently i was diagnosed with fibromyaligia and degenerate disc diese in my lumbar spine with one herniated disc and two bulging discs. i have recently also started taking lyrica twice a day along with the other five pills they have me taking. Since this medicine makes me extreamly sick to my stomach and very dizzy and tired i'm goin to become a medical marijuana patient at the end of this month when i get medically retired. My military career may be over but me and my family just hope things get better when we get back home to michigan. Well anyway thats my story glad to be a member of the site hopefully the doc in michigan can help me get my medical card

Thanks for your service bro. I am retired after 23 years. My wife has about the same back problems and is also on lyrica and high level pill form morphine. It doesn't work all the time for her and a little smoke does wonders. If your in a medical legal state and get accepted, the VA will ignore your medical marijuana status. They don't endorse it due to federal laws, but they have been informed to tolerate it when in a legal state and your following all state laws...but don't expect them to help you at all in regards to medical MJ. They can't due to federal laws so you need your own doctor for that.
